Together
We Craft a Better Community!

We are a Welsh community charity.  The function of our group is to provide a safe meeting place (currently the Pendragon Pub in Thornhill) to tackle social isolation, provide stimulation and interest for those with time on their hands (retirement, unemployment, illness or disabilities) for likeminded people to come together, make friends and learn new skills or pass their skills onto others.

Creative Workshops

We help our members reach their potential by teaching them various crafts which they do in abundance many of which are donated to other Welsh charities e.g. Heath Hospital, Neo Natal Unit, Ty Hafan, Salvation Army, Grow Baby, Baby Banks in Cardiff and Caerphilly, Toy Box, and many other charities.

This act of donating to help others gives our members a sense of pride and self-worth.

Events

We meet on a regular basis every Monday afternoon between 1-4pm (including Bank holidays).

We also include other activities which take place outside of those times, e.g.

lunches,

brunches in the city,

Sunday lunches

all taking place monthly at different venues.

We organise craft fairs so that our members can exhibit their various crafts.
